History

The history of football in Rudnik began first with the "Rudnik Sports Club" (RSC), back in 1935, and later with the development of the Football Club "Mladi Rudar". The post-war effort 1946 to be exact, is considered the real beginning of FC "Mladi Rudar". It was officially formed, at the same time as the Cultural and Educational Society "Dušan Dugalić", quickly becoming the darling of the town and the Coal Mine, and as time passed, its working conditions improved.
